Teapot Infusers

Teapot infusers are a great way to brew loose leaf tea for more than one person.

Many differnt styles are available but they all work in essentially the same way, a removable filter infuser suspended in the centre of the teapot for your loose leaf tea, simply add the hot water and brew.

When brewed to your taste the infuser and leaves can be removed, which is important to prevent over-stewing the tea, and then you will have a teapot full of your perfect blend to serve.

The thing with Teapot infusers is to make sure you get one with a nice wide mouthed infuser that allows room for the leaves to unfurl and release their flavour. Wide mouthed infusers also make it easier to clean.

Some people prefer glass teapots so you can judge the strength of your brew by the colour of the tea, and they look great!

A more traditional earthenware teapot or a cast iron teapot will keep the heat in the tea better than a glass one, and cast iron teapots are so rubust, they will outlast their owner!
